Periodic maintenance

Major Service : It is a Major Service Operation due for each vehicle every 20,000 km of vehicle running.

  

• Replace spark plugs.
• Valve adjustment.
• Check and adjust drive belts tension.
• Check and adjust ignition timing.
• Replace air filter and clean dust collector.
• Replace fuel filter ( Plastic filter every 20,000 km ,Metallic filter every 40,000 km)
• Clean and adjust choke ( Carburetor engine only ).
• Adjust air to fuel ratio, adjust idle speed.
• Check and clean PCV valve and its hoses.
• Check fuel lines and canister.
• Check and adjust TPS ( EFI engine only ).
• Check battery level.
• Check power steering fluid level and check P/S hoses.
• Change engine coolant and check thermostat.
• Check clutch pedal ( MTM only ).
• Check brake pedal free travel and booster power.
• Check and adjust hand brake.
• Check all lights, signal, wipers and washers.
• Check A/C. 20 - Check all dash electrical.
• Check and tight exhausts and exhaust pipes.
• Check front brake pads ,replace if needed.
• Check front brake discs reface if necessary.
• Change the rear wheel hub bearing grease.
• Change the front wheel hub bearing grease ( front drive ).
• Check rear brakes replace , if necessary.
• Check rear brake discs or drums reface if necessary.
• Check and tight steering linkage, check and tight ball joints.
• Check front axles and axle boots.
• Check and tight front suspension.
• Check and tight rear suspension.
• Check and tight all body and chassis nuts&bolts.
• Grease front knuckles ( 4x4 Vehicle ).
• Tire rotation and check tires adjust pressure
• Change ATM fluid, Check MTM oil level.
• Check rear differential oil level ( RR and 4x4 drive vehicles ).
• Check front differential oil level ( FR and 4x4 drive vehicles ).
• Change engine oil and filter.
• Grease door hinges and locks.
• Road test.
• Car wash.

Intermediate Service Operation: It is an Intermediate Service Operation takes place 10,000 km after each Major service.

• Check transmission oil level ( MTM only)
• Check differential oil level front and rear (RR & FR and 4x4 vehicle )
• Check oil level in 4x4 auxiliary gear.
• Tire rotation.
• Check tire pressure.
• change engine oil and filter.
• Check ATM fluid level and condition.
• Road test.
• Car wash.
