The highly satisfying experience of driving the Forturner is powered by either a 4.O-litre V6 or a 2.7 - litre engine sporting advanced Toyota engine technologies. They include VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing intelligent ) which provides optimum valve timing based on driving conditions. The advantages
of VVT-i include increased torque and output, better fuel economy, and reduced emissions.

The high-rigidity frame structure provides a strong platform for the Fortuner's rugged performance. It also helps to reduce noise and vibration from the engine and road coming into the cabin.
