On the Land Cruiser 120

< Tradition, and then Evolution >

The Land Cruiser is a vehicle that represents Toyota as a worldwide brand. It is loved around the world by many users with its all-round capabilities including its high reliability, offroad, and work-use characteristics in the extremely cold conditions in Siberia or extremely hot conditions in the Middle East, and high running ability and quality for business or family-use in Europe.
For the development of the 120 Prado, we advanced through under the keyword of "THE NEW TRADITIONAL 4WD" with the spirit to lead the way to a new era for genuine 4WDs. The concept for the keyword was to realize a car with unprecedented onroad characteristics for a genuine 4WD including quietness, comfort, and quality on par with high-class sedans, and a high level of reliability and running stability in addition to overwhelming reliability and offroad performance.
The Land Cruiser Prado, standing strong and beautifully in the hustle and bustle. Hopping into the cabin and onto the driver seat then closing the door will be the beginning of a quiet experience in sharp contrast to the outside with the high quality yet bright and spacious cabin. Switch the ignition ON to burst out to the wild lands of Australia or the autobahns of Germany - this is what we envisioned during its development.
I firmly believe we have created a car that has successfully achieved each and everyone of these "New Traditions" and we hope that we can gain many additional Land Cruiser Prado fans by experiencing the charm of this vehicle that has the ability to cover onroads throughout the world.
